Using MYD effectively to manage the common areas in order to maintain a safe campus, while enhancing continuity and communication among school personnel

MYD Student Committee

The Student Committee brings increased ownership of the program by both students and parents.  The students' points of view offer valuable insights for staff regarding implementation of MYD on a school campus. Additionally, they are often able to provide creative solutions to logistical problems from their unique vantage point.

Depending upon the make-up of the group, the training will share the whys and hows of starting a student committee or learning ways to maximize an existing student committee.

A computer with access to the internet

A camera (recommended is Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000)

A headset with microphone

If your district has video conferencing capabilities, you may use those.
